Catching up... My 20+10 reflection

I miss blogging! It's been a long time. After getting married, we have been very busy moving to our new place and settled everything. I was too occupied being a wife which I enjoy so much because of my loving husband. Been busy in the office too and no time for me to share the happenings in our lives and before I knew it it's already end of the year. Wow! Time flies really fast! I have so much to share! Our prenup photos, wedding photos, honeymoon escapade, my amazing travel to Jordan and Israel and etc.

I had the chance to read my previous blog and I realized how immature & pathetic I am before. Haha. Now I understand as you grow older, your perspective and insight are also changing. It will vary on the experiences that you had along the way but the important thing is you learned a lesson. I am 20+10 now and looking forward for more experiences that life can offer. New lessons to learn, new people and new adventures will unfold very soon. I am happy that I have my husband with me for this wonderful joy ride to share all these experiences and I know that no matter what happen, He's always on my side. I am really blessed to have Ronald in my life though we fight and argue a lot but at the end of the day we still cuddle and kiss each other. Haha! I know he's very patient with me and that's one of the things I love about him. I pray that he won't change even when we have our babies in the future. And yes I remember, I will share here our faithgoals for 2015 as a couple and one of them is our little Ronald and little Grace. That makes me more excited for the upcoming new year. Yey! :) But for now, we will celebrate our first Christmas as a couple. Cheers!

Ronald & Grace Wedding - SDE (May 8, 2014)

Whoa! It has been a long time, so busy with the wedding preparation and no time to update my blog. Anyway, it's over! (i mean the wedding)  I really thank God for everything that He did for our wedding. It was almost perfect! From the weather, ceremony, family and friends. But of course there are few glitches somewhere but it was still ok. I thank my husband for giving me the dream wedding I had in mind. For being so patient all throughout the preparation and the wedding itself. Haha!

Here's our wedding SDE. :) Thank God someone convinced me to get the SDE video.

Wedding Diary - Preparation

Ronald and I went back to Philippines for our wedding preparation for a week only. It has been crazy, tiring and busy week for us but we're so glad that we accomplished a lot of things. Managed to met up some friends and spent time with our family in between. (Pat on our backs) haha!

So for the wedding updates:
1. We hired a wedding coordinator because I cannot take it anymore. Initially, I wanted to do it but it's very hard to plan your wedding when you are overseas. I can't visualize my wedding. So before I drive myself crazy, we hired Em (Ronald's friend) to be our wedding coordinator. He is very experienced in handling wedding so I believe we are in good hands. Booked him on a friendly rate. :)

2. Booked our ceremony and reception venue. We went there with our wedding coordinator to do the planning. We paid the DP to block the date.

3. Marriage License Application. This was very challenging and nerve-wracking. I realized that if you are dealing with government employees, you really have to be patient. Oh men, they don't even have a good system to start with. Anyway, we still managed to apply for it after all the hassles and process that can be avoided. I believe that there still hope for the Philippines.

4. Had my HMU trial. I want to make sure that I will be the most beautiful girl on my wedding day. Hahaha! Kidding aside, this is one time big event so might as well go with your best look.

5. Food tasting with our caterer who is also the in-house caterer of our reception venue. The food was awesome. This is one thing I want our guests to remember after our wedding. I don't want to compromise the quality so we got the best dish that we can provide for them.

6. Booked our florist. The florist was recommended by our wedding coordinator. Since I trust him enough, we go for it.

7. Met up with the pastor who will officiate our wedding. I used to be a Victory Christian member before I came to Singapore and still attending whenever I am in the Philippines. I still consider them as my church so I want them to officiate our wedding. We are blessed that Pastor Benj agreed to it.

So that's mostly the important suppliers/person that we need. Few more months to go and still have a lot of things to do. I know! Just want to be calm and savor this moment. I don't feel any pressure right now. Lol!
