Happy 1st Birthday Lucas!!

Happy birthday Lucas! My Aviel Lucas.

When i found out that I was pregnant, I can't contain my excitement and happiness. You are our answered prayer.

My 3rd visit to Israel was extra special, it was the first time I prayed really hard and cried at the Western Wall longing for a bundle of joy. Little did i know, you're already in my womb probably smiling at me. You are a strong baby. I had a long walk every
day during that trip. Lack of sleep because of jet lag. And I remember the night i was walking alone in the middle of Judean desert, the lights are off looking for the person in charge because the heater was not working. It was winter and really cold at night.

You probably hear me asking Gershon, our Jew friend to give me a Hebrew name. I want your name to be extra special. When we found out your gender, he gave the name Aviel.

Aviel means God is our Father.

I want you to remember that God is our Father for the rest of your life. That you will be guided with your name.

As we are praying for your second name. A Lady Pastor prophesied to me that I will call my son, Lucas. I was stunned! I never mentioned to her the names that we are considering that time.

Lucas means bringer of life

I pray that you will be the salt of the earth and light of the world. Your light will shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

Again, happy birthday anak. Mommy and Daddy loves you so much!

Taiwanderful Trip!

Indeed it was a wonderful trip with my girlfriends! And finally we made it after several plans to travel together! 6 months after giving birth, i was so happy to travel with them. I need a break from the sudden changes of my life. I thank my good husband for allowing me to join them. He knows me too well. 😍 Just for the record, i am happy to have a baby (answered prayer) but ever since I got pregnant I was too cautious to travel. Ok, blame it to my itchy feet.

Taiwan is on my top 5 list destination to travel in Asia. I even want to go here first before Korea. I don't know what fascinates me about this place but I love the vibe, the city and the nature sites. And I am correct, Taiwan is beautiful! I think Taiwan is underrated compare to other countries in Asia. There are a lot of things to do here. If you are coming from the city and go for nature tripping, you can easily go with their transport system. Most of the sites are accessible, easy to navigate even for first timers like us. But of course you should do your homework before your travel which I did for the group. I made the itinerary with all the sites and how to go to so we can explore more sites as much as we can.

I will definitely coming back to Taiwan with Ronald and Lucas. Maybe when Lucas can walk already so we can go to more sites. Till next time, Taiwan!

Happy 2017

Happy New Year, everyone! Yey it's 2017! A lot of things happened in 2016 and I'm so grateful to God for all the blessings that He showered to me and my family. First of all, for our bundle of joy Aviel Lucas. Indeed, he is the best gift ever given to us in 2016. Thank you Lucas for fulfilling my dream to be a mother. I speak blessings to you that God will always protect you, that you will always be in good health. Me and Daddy will try our very best to provide all your needs. And our hearts desire is for you to grow up with fear of God.

My heart is full of gratitude Lord, thank you for our son (our answered prayer) and of course for giving me a loving and understanding husband. We commit all our desires, plans and our lives to You. Grant us with good health, provision, wisdom and peace in our hearts. All glory to You!

I am Pregnant!!

We welcomed 2016 with our greatest gift!

Yes! I am 14 weeks pregnant at the moment. And we are so excited for our bundle of joy.

Officially on my second trimester and I can feel the changes in my body now. I realized it's not that easy to be pregnant. There are a lot of food that I cannot eat now and I miss drinking coffee and tea!! Which reminds me also that I'm supposed to have a trip to Turkey and Greece but I cannot go now. Talking about the right timing... yes baby? Hehe. Anyway, it's only for 9 months, I wouldn't even trade my baby with anything else even that free trip. And we can go there in the future with our baby.

It's funny also that I only found out that I'm pregnant in my 6 weeks. I didn't experience morning sickness and nausea in the beginning. The only thing I have noticed was my breast are so tender and painful but i thought it's because of my upcoming menstruation. I also went to Israel and Jordan with no idea that I am pregnant. I climbed up in one of the mountains in Petra, had a camel ride in Judean Dessert and the endless walking during that trip. So no idea, not even a hint. That's why I am so surprised to see the double line when I did the pregnancy test. On that day, we also had a trip to Vietnam to spend our Christmas. I was so skeptical if we still push thru our trip but we have arranged everything so we still went.

Did my first checkup last 29 Dec 2015 and heard the most amazing sound in the whole world. Our baby's heartbeat! We really thank God for the answered prayer! :)

Cambodia Trip 2015

After being silent for a  long time here, I wanted to post our recent Cambodia Trip. We went there to celebrate Ronald's birthday and it was a long weekend so we used this opportunity to travel overseas without filing a leave. And because it was a holiday period, the airfare was so expensive! Good thing, the hotel rate was affordable with free shuttle service to/from the airport.

We went to different temples like Banteay Srei, Bayon, Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat. I did not expect that it was so hot especially when you go inside the temple. Should bring extra clothes because you will be sweating like there's no tomorrow. Haha. We hired a tour guide just for the 2 of us so we can have a better understanding of the places. And it was actually a good decision because some of the temples are big that you don't know where to go. You will really get lost if you don't know the place unless  you have a lot of time and wanted to explore it on your own.

All the pics were taken from my IPhone 6 plus only. Our DSLR camera was broken from our Palawan trip because of me. Haha. Sorry my dear husband, i know you really love me. :) Hope you had fun on your birthday. Cheers!

Happy 2015!

Happy New Year to all! A brand new year awaits and I'm so excited. I believed this year is going to be the best year yet for me and Ronald. My heart is full of hope and gratitude because I believe that dreams and breakthroughs will happen this year by His grace and mercy. Yes, our God is full of grace.

We welcome this year very differently. For the first time, celebrated New Year with just me and my dear husband. Our friends and housemates inviting us to do the countdown outside but we opted to stay at home. 2014 has been very good to us. And I would like to have a quiet moment on New Year's eve, reflecting and reminiscing all the things happened to 2014. Thank You Lord for the unconditional love. And writing our Faith Goals for 2015 as a couple is a must for me. :) A lot of things to look forward this year. And I can't wait. Haha.

Lord, we commit everything unto Your hands. We believe that whatever happens, Your grace and mercy will endure forever.

Cheers to 2015!!

Catching up... My 20+10 reflection

I miss blogging! It's been a long time. After getting married, we have been very busy moving to our new place and settled everything. I was too occupied being a wife which I enjoy so much because of my loving husband. Been busy in the office too and no time for me to share the happenings in our lives and before I knew it it's already end of the year. Wow! Time flies really fast! I have so much to share! Our prenup photos, wedding photos, honeymoon escapade, my amazing travel to Jordan and Israel and etc.

I had the chance to read my previous blog and I realized how immature & pathetic I am before. Haha. Now I understand as you grow older, your perspective and insight are also changing. It will vary on the experiences that you had along the way but the important thing is you learned a lesson. I am 20+10 now and looking forward for more experiences that life can offer. New lessons to learn, new people and new adventures will unfold very soon. I am happy that I have my husband with me for this wonderful joy ride to share all these experiences and I know that no matter what happen, He's always on my side. I am really blessed to have Ronald in my life though we fight and argue a lot but at the end of the day we still cuddle and kiss each other. Haha! I know he's very patient with me and that's one of the things I love about him. I pray that he won't change even when we have our babies in the future. And yes I remember, I will share here our faithgoals for 2015 as a couple and one of them is our little Ronald and little Grace. That makes me more excited for the upcoming new year. Yey! :) But for now, we will celebrate our first Christmas as a couple. Cheers!
